The system supply comprises cargo system engineering, material supply and hand-over to owner with crew training services included.
Technical Data
Gas Solutions has been developing the LEG cargo handling systems since the early days of the industry. Primary cargo is Ethane, but in addition the vessels have capability to carry ethylene and LPG gases.
The system design is to ensure safe, efficient, operator and Eco-friendly cargo handling operations. The gas carrier will smoothly load and keep the cargo refrigerated during laden voyage ahead of discharging.
The system is designed with aim to reduce operating costs, contribute to an improved vessel EEDI and reduce overall emitted GHG to the atmosphere.
The heart of the system is the BOG handling plant which is of cascade type; one primary stage and one secondary stage. The system is proven and shown reliable via many sailing reference vessels.
The system supply includes the cargo control system which enables remote monitoring and control of the system including various subsystems as Inert Gas System and interface to the Load Computer.
