Clean-In-Place Solution

Containerized Clean-In-Place solution for seawater heat exchangers.
A practical preventive maintenance service designed to remove deposits and restore more efficient heat exchanger performance.

Seawater Leaves More Than Heat Behind

A dedicated CIP service, delivered where it is needed. Fouling progressively constrains flow and heat transfer inside seawater heat exchangers.

• Scale & Sediment - Residues and impurities accumulate in piping and heat exchangers.

• Biological Fouling - Marine growth can further obstruct seawater passages.

• Lower Heat Transfer - Deposits degrade exchanger performance and reduce seawater flow.

• Plant Impact - Poor heat exchanger performance can affect the wider plant efficiency.

Designed for plants using seawater as medium in heat exchanger.

How The Solution Works

CLOSED-LOOP CLEANING, ORGANIZED IN 4 STAGES.

Cleaning circulation is performed through flexible hoses connected to the heat exchanger. Typical service envelope: approximately 72 hours per heat exchanger, including the complete operation.

1. Prepare

Record baseline data. Stop the affected plant. Drain and isolate seawater circuit.

CLEAR VALUE PROPOSITION

Restore exchanger cleanliness and support reliable regas performance through a controlled, containerized service.

More efficient heat transfer. More confidence in operation.

Preventive cleaning addresses the mechanism behind performance degradation.

✔ Performance Recovery - Removal of scale and deposits supports more efficient heat exchanger performance.

✔ Operational Reliability - Periodic cleaning helps reduce the risk of fouling-related deterioration in regas performance.

✔ Planned Intervention - A structured service sequence supports preparation, execution and return to operation.

✔ Single Service Interface - Equipment, flexible hoses, cleaning agent and specialist manpower are mobilized by NGS.

NGS Recommendation: Periodic cleaning, typically once a year.
